Warburton skate park

Work is underway on designing the Warburton Skate Park with plans to have it built as soon as possible this year.

Council recently met for a workshop with the community, including young people, to discuss what the community would like to see in the park.

We will continue discussions with a view to finalising the plans in the next couple of months and beginning construction mid year.

The design process will also take into account the whole area and include provisions for shade and drinking water.

Council is also in the process of reviewing its skate plan for the whole of the Yarra Ranges.

We hope to have a draft skate strategy to present to Council for consideration mid year.

Warburton Mountain Bike Feasibility Study

Our Recreation Services team is currently working with World Trail to potentially set up a network of mountain biking trails around the township of Warburton.
As part of this project, World Trail is seeking input from the community, especially those who are into cycling and mountain biking.

If you've got a few minutes and want to have a say, we'd love to hear from you.

We've set up an easy-to-follow survey so that you can let us know what you think. It shouldn't take more than ten minutes and your feedback will help shape the project as things develop.
